Microcad Software

Computer-aided design (CAD) is the use of computer technology for the process of design. When designing kitchens and bathrooms it provides the user with input-tools for the purpose of streamlining design processes; drafting, documentation, and manufacturing processes.

Since the creation of Microcad Software in 1987, focus has always been made on the importance of the individual’s preferences, their time constraints and the avoidance of human error. That is why Microcad’s software is always improving its tools to allow varied designs for all tastes and simpler to use options so that designs may be created faster.

PGM Ltd

Planonline

Most notable within the PGM portfolio is SaniNet, a software package specifically designed to speed and ease the creation of bathroom designs. SaniNet is equally suited for use in a design office, where the designer’s skills can take advantage of the software’s powerful tools, or for studio use in the presence of the client when their wishes can be instantly translated into animated on-screen images…the completed scenes are highly realistic and can’t fail to impress the most critical of viewers.

PGM is also deeply committed to Computer Generated Imagery, which is frequently hard to differentiate from conventional photography, nonetheless offering superb quality visuals and a great many advantages, both financial and practical.

SaniNet Bathroom Design

SaniNet is arguably the fastest and easiest bathroom design program available…bar none! Navigating the software is a matter of following a few simple steps, and learning how to create a bathroom scene can be mastered in minutes, not the days (even weeks) others demand.

Software for Kitchen and Bathroom Designers

2D plans and elevations of kitchen designs can look very impressive, but the software to create 3D mock-ups is now cheap and easy to learn. There is a bewildering array to choose from, but the essential questions to ask are:

Is it easy to learn? it needs to be a tool for your business, not a big time consuming learning problem.

Is it compatible with other packages? You may be sent drawings made in various CAD programs and you need to be able to open them, you also need to be able to save to a format that everyone else can read, as well as to PDF to send to clients that don’t have drawing systems on their computer.

ArtiCAD – Easy does it!

Continuously developed over the
course of more than twenty years, ArtiCAD-Pro and its sister product, BathCAD, rank amongst the widely used CAD software products for the KBB sector. More than 7,000 systems have been supplied in the UK alone, and the products are also storming ahead in Australia, South Africa, Ireland and the USA. From independent designers to major industry names, housebuilders and retailers, ArtiCAD’s products are helping our customers to sell more, and sell more easily, every single day of their working lives.

Making life easy

And probably the word ‘easy’ is one which has the most resonance in the KBB sector. Software should be easy to use, regardless of your previous computer experience. It should make it easier for you to design (and sell) your concepts, without forcing you to compromise your creative ideas or skills.

KBB Link Revolutionizes
data updates

Launched last year at the KBB Show in Birmingham, KBBConnect® has now in excess of 2,500 registered retailers and the majority of leading suppliers are giving their support to the system. It also boasts of two “firsts” within the industry; the first and only system for the KBB sector to harness the power and flexibility of Cloud technology and the first and only “Freemium” system to be made available to retailer and supplier alike. The latter embraces the concept of distributing the core products of the system, completely free of charge.

Development has been constant with. The highly regarded KBB Apps launched at Excel early this year, is in addition to the Core product of online quoting and ordering. This was followed last week by the introduction of
KBB Link. One of the major challenges of the industry is the distribution and dissemination of accurate and up to date product data for the purposes of quoting and ordering. At a stroke, KBB link has made all traditional forms of publishing, both printed and electronic media redundant! KBB Link allows the KBB Supplier direct, secure access to their partition
within KBBConnect® online system, to maintain and update their product and pricing data at will.
